building a park

Imagine if Margahovit had a natural oasis where the members of the community could gather—a place for the children to play and for the elderly to relax.

Part of the project involves bringing in seedlings from ATP’s Mirak Reforestation Nursery and organizing tree plantings with community members. Local residents, Margahovit School, and active youth will join ATP specialists in the planting of ash, pine, oak, horse chestnut, apple and pear trees.

Eventually, benches will be built, a playground will be created, and a true recreational resource will have taken shape—establishing a new heart for the community.
